Situated
in the heart of Mananthavadi. Kerala varma Pazhassiraja, who lead an uncompromising warfare against the colonial rule, takes his final rest here. Under his leadership the aboriginal tribes of Kunchiars, Kurumass and Pariyas fought against British rule in guerilla mode.

Jain Temple

This is the stamp of the dwelling of Jain community in Wayanad since ancient times. The Jain temple at Sulthan Bathery. This temple supposed to have built in 13th century served as a Hindu Shrine, an important center for commercial activity and eventually as a battery (ammunition store for Tippu Sulthans marching armies.

Valliyurkavu Temple

Ancient temple having the presence of mother Goddess manifested in Vanadurga, Bhadrakali and Jaladurga.
