ranging from 700 to 2100 Metres above mean sea level.
“ The name Wayanad is derived from the Malayalam
word "Vayalnadu" means Land of Paddy fields
Wayanadu offers a plethora of
natural spectacles inclding waterfalls, rivers, hills,
mountains and rocks. Wayanad has the largest tribal
population in Kerala. The tribals treasure their age
old culture, traditions and rituals.
